Aspen was a natural for this Denver-based couple; Katie had been vacationing there throughout her entire life, and had always dreamed of marrying her perfect man at The Little Nell. Once she met Mikhil (who is from Armenia), she knew this is where they would wed —and had it booked before the engagement! The day of, their 170 guests took the gondola up to 11,122 feet, where the couple exchanged vows under an archway of lush greens and romantic white blossoms. It was a true fusion event with Armenian traditions throughout; they broke plates at the end of ceremony, and did traditional Armenian dances at the reception. Mikhil is known for his love of Adidas track suits (an Eastern European fashion trend!) and they incorporated that by changing into a matching set half way through reception to re enter the reception, accompanied by a sax player. Such a breathtaking wedding and couple, and beyond FUN.
