Mountain Occasions boast more than a combined 25 years of wedding planning experience. Of course it takes more than just experience to plan a wedding, which is why we take even greater pride in the quality of our staff. All of our talented Event Coordinators are creative, organized and energetic individuals. Weddings are our passion and with every event we plan, we strive to have happy, stress free brides and grooms and guests that leave saying “that was the best wedding I have ever been to”
The fee we charge is for designing, planning, and coordinating your wedding, dealing with all issues that arise along the way. Our goal is to make the planning as stress-free as possible and to make your wedding day perfect. In general, the amount we charge is based either on the number of guests or is a percentage of the overall cost of the event (always equal to or less than the Association of Bridal Consultants’ industry standard of 15%). In certain cases we will charge an hourly fee. We will always agree with you – in advance –
either the fee structure or the actual fee, with a one-third deposit payable on signing a contract that will specify the goods and services to be provided.
We understand that couples have different requirements in terms of the amount of planning help and coordination they need for their big day. For this reason we offer three different levels of service, each with its own independent fee structure. These are summarized in the following tables. |MONTH- OF COORDINATION: 3 one hour meetings to discuss your vision and plans thus far and to make sure you are headed down the right path. We will then be able to give you the organizational tools you will need to successfully execute your event. Finalizing all details and plans with your selected vendors and oversee all details on your big day. Fees are based on an hourly charge and begin at $1000.|
|PARTIAL COORDINATION/THE TAKE OVER: Even when the design has been agreed upon, all the vendors hired, and the menus chosen, you still have to put the puzzle pieces together. You want to be stress free in the months leading up to your big day, and the last thing you want to be doing on yourwedding day is spending all your time making sure things run according to plan, and managing your vendors. Fees are based on individual needs and a custom package is created for each bride, usually a flat fee, starting at $1500.|
|FULL COORDINATION from concept to completion, with particular emphasis on design and the selection and management of all vendors and locations. The planning process will typically start around twelve months from the date of the event. The fee for this service is usually 10-15% of the total amount of money managed by Mountain Occasions, starting at $2500.|
