Mountain Occasions, LLC is owned by multi- experienced event coordinator Aimee Monihan. With over 25 years of  experience between them, Aimee lives to plan creative, fun and memorable events.

Having the right coordinator for your wedding can make or break your special day. Mountain Occasions will take over your vision and execute your plan, allowing you to relax and pay attention to other preparations for the big day. We will work as your wedding day advocate so that you are truly able to enjoy your event without a single stressful moment.

About Aimee Monihan

Aimee Monihan has over 18 years experience in planning events. Ten of those years were spent abroad, where Aimee was the very first professional wedding coordinator in Costa Rica, Central America. Aimee has planned over 800 weddings in her career and is recognized and certified by The Association of Bridal consultants. She has attended numerous seminars and classes and has previously worked for many years in the resort and hotel industry. Aimee is especially talented in event design and brings an artistic flare to the table with her creative ideas. Aimee lives in Erie, CO with her husband, Alan and her son Callum. She is an avid nature and activity lover – Thus her passion for destination (and local) weddings in two of the planets most beautiful locations- The rainforest and beaches of Costa Rica and now the stunning rocky mountains of Colorado. She enjoys cooking, working out, hiking, skiing and many other outdoor activities in beautiful Colorado with friends and family.
